About SU's RedhawkTHON
RedhawkTHON at Seattle University dreams of a day when no child or family is affected by childhood illness. As a result of the incredible care and research at Seattle Children’s Hospital, RedhawkTHON is getting closer and closer to this dream. Seattle, we need your help to make childhood illness a thing of the past.
Our efforts to fundraise and raise awareness of Children's Uncompensated Care Fund and Cancer Immunotherapy culminate in an annual signature event, a 6 hour celebration. Attendees challenge themselves to participate for the entire 6 hours in order to demonstrate solidarity with the patients at Children's who can't take a break from their illnesses. The 16th annual RedhawkTHON will take place in-person on Saturday April 22nd from 10am - 4pm. Sign up and join us! Bringing together hundreds of SU students and staff, patients and families from Seattle Children's, and local community members, RedhawkTHON features catered meals, performances, a photobooth, and a multitude of activities. At the end of the day, our fundraising total is announced. |
Who We Are
Dance Marathon is a nationwide youth-led philanthropy that benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. RedhawkTHON is a student-led organization that specifically benefits Seattle Children's Hospital's Uncompensated Care Fund and Cancer Immunotherapy. Through the Uncompensated Care Fund, RedhawkTHON provides free lifesaving health care to patients at Seattle Children's who otherwise would not be able to afford care. We believe than no family with a sick child should ever have to worry about anything but their child's wellness, regardless of their ability to afford medical care. ![]() |
